This started as a talk about painting, but - artist Bree Neyland talks to The Situation Room about the interdependence that is central to our survival, and how that is at the core of social justice. Her love for art, feminism, teaching, community engagement and social justice have resulted in colorful, engaging works of art. We'’ll also hear her insights into family farms, birds, and old recipe books. Her work is on display through the month of May at the ArtiFactory Art Gallery, and you can see more of her work at breeneylandart.wordpress.com/ . Look around as you travel through the countryside this summer - you might see some of her work on grain bins, tractors and other farm implements.
Seems a little quiet over here
