berlin wall

this is a story written not only by the lines of lyrics about the time when Berlin was divided after a horrible world war and the mood that brings to the divided place many called home.
It's also having a meaning about how history repeats itself and the fact that we will come to the same conclusion that anything can happen.
I wanted to bring in the vibe of the Cold War era bringing dancibility to a room filled with anxious thoughts of escalation. It's more of an ode to 80's music with a futuristic sound as well as attempting to have a pop sound with a dark undertone, with inspirations of 80's synthpop and new wave acts like Gary Numan and industrial music acts like Front 242, DAF and Fad Gadget, Cabaret Voltaire and Depeche Mode.
