This is a REMIX of 'Dance with Me'.

Back in 2012 and 2013, I was playing a lot of 'open mic' nights and in one particular venue, one of the bartenders and I hit it off and so I decided I'd write something for her without going overboard. I mean, there was nothing romantic about our relationship - we just liked talking to each other - hence the Verse line:

"Got no delusions, got no wild dreams; there's nothing more here than it seems."

So I wrote what turned out to be the Verses of this song. Problem: I had no Chorus. Then one day, three or four years later, I'm screwing around on my guitar and BOOM!! I started playing what would become the Chorus of this song. I thought the two parts might fit together so I tried it out. I had to rewrite some of the Verses a little to make the song make more sense, but I think it turned out okay.
