Chantel Sings is an accomplished R&B singer, songwriter, radio personality, and host with a career that spans over nearly two decades. Known for her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence, Chantel has had the privilege of opening for some of the biggest names in R&B, including Joe, Jeremih, Lyfe Jennings, Donnell Jones, Trey Songz, Mario, Lil G (of Silk), Keith Sweat, Adina Howard, Montell Jordan, Jagged Edge, Ray J, K-Ci & JoJo, and many more.
A staple in the Twin Cities music scene, Chantel performs in several local bands, such as The R Factor and Blue Water Kings, both recognized as the best wedding bands in the area. She has also graced the stages of countless wedding receptions, corporate events, and local venues, including Park Nicollet Clinic and Great Clips.
Chantel's career has also seen her work with legendary artists like Alexander O'Neal, providing background vocals for his performances. She has appeared on national TV shows, with her songs “Can’t Stop Thinking About You” and “Let It Go” featured on VH1's Basketball Wives, MTV's Jersey Shore, and Black Ink Crew, among others, including the Netflix show Sugar Rush.
In addition to her music career, Chantel is a respected radio host and production manager at Minneapolis' KMOJ station, where she co-hosts Freddie Bell & Chantel Sings: In the Morning from 6 AM to 10 AM.

A testament to her resilience, Chantel faced a personal battle with ovarian cancer in 2005 but has been cancer-free for 18 years. Following her recovery, she created the We Fight Against Cancer event to raise awareness. Chantel has received the Minnesota State Arts Board's Artist Initiative Grant multiple times and released her debut album, Beautiful Dream, in 2011.
Chantel is also a graduate of Brown College, with an Associate's Degree in Television Production and Broadcasting.
