This is an oral history interview with Jesse Cancelmo, conducted remotely between Austin, Texas and Houston, Texas. Mr. Cancelmo is a diver, divemaster, author and underwater photographer, with a special interest in spotlighting and protecting the Flower Gardens and other banks in the Northwest Gulf of Mexico. The conversation was recorded on March 7, 2024 by David Todd. The Conservation History Association of Texas sponsored the interview, as part of its Texas Fauna Project.
