Windham Hill Records was an independent record label that was originally known for acoustic music but later became associated with New Age. Like ECM Records, 4AD, Stones Throw, etc., it's one of those labels with an unmistakable aesthetic, and its music defies easy categorization: the "genre" is simply Windham Hill, and that's that. While some may equate their music to white paint, their catalog also comprises serious heat. I aim to share the latter with you through my new mix. Hope you enjoy it 🍂
