This is just my section of the 2 hour broadcast without the radio advertisements and host commentary. Originally aired during hour 2 on April 23, 2021 during the Studio 96 Show hosted by Nocturnal Wax on WERA 96.7 FM in the DC area. Special thanks to @nocturnal_wax for the invite.

For this mix, I aimed for bleak disorientation + maximum song overlap. Some blends are 3, 4, almost 5 minutes long, though some are quick. It’s a scary, hallucinogenic, meditative, kinked-out journey towards an eventual reprieve into steadier club territory. What other mood would I have wanted to hear on independent radio, on a late drive before the age of streaming? That was the guide. As much as I would love to sustain one mood, the joy (and challenge) is pulling disparate records that in the end, surprisingly feel like family.

@user-982831920: Yeah! I thought this Larry Heard and PSB blend made some simple patterns seem very vivid due to the interesting stereo panning at play, glad you dig it !
