Freddie Bailey Freddie is “musically gifted, a player, singer, songwriter”–Keith Urban Freddie Bailey is an 18-year-old Singer Songwriter from Tamworth NSW and has been playing the guitar since the age of 9. He found his performing feet busking at Tamworth Country Music Festival 2018 and has been gigging at many of his home town’s popular venues since he was 14. Freddie wowed the nation and beyond with his stand out performance in the Voice Blind Auditions, winning him a spot on Keith Urban’s team and the overall Top 24 of the Voice 2022. Freddie had the chance of a lifetime to perform Keith’s smash hit “Wild Hearts” on stage with the man himself. Freddie is a guitar centric Singer Songwriter with a soulful edge and brings a new atmosphere to “Pop” with heartbreakingly beautiful lyrics and emotive melodies. Freddie works as a Guitar Teacher and session musician, playing Rhythm and Lead Guitar for bands and solo artists needing an extra pair of hands, at big music venues in NSW .This young artist was selected for the Talent Development Project in 2020, operated by the NSW Government Arts Unit every year, and is privileged to have graduated in the Class of 2022. He was also awarded a Variety Heart Scholarship for Music in 2022. Freddie is a two-time graduate of the prestigious CMAA Junior Academy of Country Music, having completed both the Singer Songwriter and Instrumental Courses. He has also worked as an intern for the CCMA, playing lead guitar in the band for both Senior and Junior Academy’s. Freddie performed in the opening concert of Tamworth Country Music Festival 2023 on the Toyota Main stage and was a finalist at the TCMF 2019 Busking Championships, playing to 5000 Country Music Fans from the same stage. His Guitar skills have won him a much sought-after endorsement with Tokai guitars and an opportunity to play lead guitar for the legendary act The Bushwhackers. Freddie is an in-demand artist and has opened for Aria Award winner, Fanny Lumsden and Golden Guitar Winners: The Bushwhackers, Andrew Swift and Amber Lawrence. Freddie recently performed for “Stand Tall Australia” who are touring the country with the mission to empower young people and help them strive to achieve their goals. He played at the Liam Gallagher concert for VIP guests at the ICC and also performed the opening song for Rebel NSW Champions of Sports awards at the at the same venue.
