Born in Madrid, Spain in 1980, Oscar L’s passion for electronic music was evident from an early age. As a child, he would imagine himself as a radio host, presenting the latest hits in his bedroom with equipment he had built himself.

His journey as an artist began in local DJ booths, performing at various events around Madrid. In 2001, his career took off when he won the first-ever DJ contest hosted by Loca FM, a pioneering electronic music radio station in Spain.

In 2002, he launched his own radio show, DMiX, on Dance FM, a national station created by one of Spain’s leading radio groups, Onda Cero.

Balancing his roles as both DJ and radio host, Oscar soon ventured into music production—a move that would mark a turning point in his career. Early on, he and his production partner created the alias Serenade, under which they released several tracks supported by some of the biggest names in trance, including Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, and Paul Van Dyk.

Eager to evolve his sound, Oscar explored Techno, House, and Tech House—genres that would bring him broader recognition within the industry.

He began releasing music on top-tier labels, including Beatfreak Recordings—one of the most influential progressive house labels in the world, led by the respected artist D-Formation.

In 2015, Oscar reached a major milestone when his track "Alors on Danse" (released on Suara) hit #1 on the Beatport sales chart—the most prominent platform for electronic music—cementing his status as an international artist.

From then on, top artists and record labels sought out Oscar for both original tracks and remixes. He’s delivered remixes for industry giants like Danny Tenaglia, Umek, DJ Chus, Andrea Oliva, Hannes Bieger, Ken Ishii, and Giorgia Angiuli. His music has been supported and played by global heavyweights such as Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Mathame, Joseph Capriati, and Ilario Alicante, among others.

Oscar has released music on some of the most prestigious labels in the industry, including Drumcode (Adam Beyer), Knee Deep In Sound (Hot Since 82), Stereo Productions (Chus & Ceballos), Truesoul (also by Adam Beyer), We Are The Brave (Alan Fitzpatrick), and 1605 (Umek).

In 2018, his track "Monster Tube" (Truesoul) became a massive hit, breaking records and quickly becoming one of the most-played tracks of the year. To this day, it remains a staple in the playlists of many top DJs.

He joined the Stereo Productions family, performing at internationally renowned festivals like The BPM Festival in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Portugal.

Later, he became part of the prestigious Drumcode artist roster, performing at their festival editions in Malta and Croatia, as well as club events across the globe.

Since then, Oscar's ascent has been unstoppable. He's performed at some of the most iconic festivals and venues across Europe and the Americas. Highlights include Tomorrowland, The BPM Festival, Drumcode Festival, Dreambeach, and Empires Music Festival, among others.

Today, Oscar L continues to expand his artistic reach, positioning himself as one of Spain’s leading electronic music talents with a bright and influential future ahead.
