Silent Stage @Miš Maš festival by plankton vs flying animal published on 2017-06-18T11:32:34Z ===for English scroll down=== Zvuková site-specific inštalácia na festival Miš Maš 2017. ============ Site specific sonic installation at Miš Maš festvial 2017. I recorded various sounds at the festival site - an old farm settling - before the festival actually started. Birds, storm, rain, an occasional car. The one I found most interesting, however is the sound of the air ventilation pipe in the wine cellar. The pipe passes through 2 meters of soil before it reaches the upper ground and delivers amazing bassy frequencies. Sound of the earth, I figured. Combined with the scenic view from the Silent stage that points points away from the festival, the installation creates a capsule that roots persons in the place they are, but transports them to a different time.
