Jessica Brown – Vocalist | Ukulele Player | Music Educator
Music has been a part of Jessica’s life for as long as she can remember. As a child, she struggled with a stutter—until she started singing. Through music, she found her voice, and that discovery shaped her journey as a performer and educator.
She has released two solo albums, including Blame it On the Weatherman, and has taken the stage in a variety of high-profile performances. She’s sung the National Anthem for the Arizona Diamondbacks and opened for well-known artists like Sister Hazel. In the past, she also built a strong following on social media, connecting with audiences through her music.
Jessica studied vocal performance at Columbia College Chicago under the guidance of Roberta Duchak, now the North American Music Supervisor for Six the Musical. She later earned a master’s degree in Elementary Education and now shares her love of music as an Elementary Music teacher at Beach Park School District. She also teaches private voice and ukulele lessons at the Jack Benny Center, helping students develop their skills and confidence.
Beyond the classroom, Jessica continues to perform throughout the Lake County area. Whether she’s on stage or teaching aspiring musicians, she is passionate about using music to inspire, connect, and uplift others.
