'Dirty Glamour' is the culmination of a year of growth, performing and honing in our craft as performers spending a year playing live around the UK. Dirty Glamour is the style in which Duke Keats bases his characters, worlds and ethos. A mantra and mindset. Follow Duke and alter ego Damn Dara through Hollywood as Each song evokes a different mood whilst still retaining the sounds and elements throughout. The songs written by Duke are based around the underbelly of the seedy Hollywood circuit Its sound palette includes elements of alt rock, art rock, neo psychedelia, noise rock, garage rock, funk & jazz and progressive rock. The dirty and glamorous nature of fame, money and success globally. The sacrifices and changes we make and things we do for celebrity. Duke has always had an interest in old Hollywood actors, cinema, animation and the industry as a whole. Dirty Glamour seeks to embody sonically and musically the Americana and 'myth land' of LA, which infuses the minds of native UK residents. Also, provide a taster into the characters and world's duke and his bands music inhabits. The live nature of the songs on the EP reinforce the dirty and lo-fi nature of the album and instrumentation.
