"Ways To Lie" is a tribute to my uncle — the man who first introduced me to music. He was supposed to visit this summer. We were finally gonna reconnect. But he passed away from heart failure before we got the chance.

This song was written in the middle of that grief. It’s about all the things we tell ourselves to cope. The denial, the guilt, the hope. Every line came from a real place. No second takes, no overthinking — just truth.
