Stress & Strain Vol 15 - Classic Progressive Trance, Under the Table by A992

This mix was created for the /r/classicstrance comp, the prompt encouraging one or more rare tracks (hence the 'under the table') pre-2008 trance with no other restrictions. Freedom! I've been itching to make a classics prog set for a while anyway. This set leans in to that classic late 90s prog sound, although it reaches in to the EE era as well. Journey prog was always my favorite and likely always likely will be. Shame the genre is nearly non-existent in 2023. I wanted this mix to be dreamy and a bit more emotive than some of the mixes I've made lately. This mix really takes its time as well, so sit back for the ride. There are some footnotes to explain the rarity or composition path for some of the tracks below. 128-137bpm. Enjoy.

*** Digital lossless copy of these were never officially released. There are <10 copies of the promo CDR of Novocaine, but Nothing to Live For was only ever available on vinyl. Recently obtained from the old parent label. Thanks Richard!
**** 2023 update to a remix/masher I made a few years back. Wanted to resurrect this one for a while. I would not usually dissect such pristine tracks, but I noticed a few years ago that Lost Tribe's 'Under the Red Sea' and Darey's infamous 'Wizards of the Sonic' Remix were made from the same ingredients. Had to cook up a new recipe with them. This is a longer version with a remaster.

****** I thought I could use the Solarstone Pure Intro as it is 2011 remix of a 1999 track, but alas, I missed a rules clarification for modern booties only. This hybrid was made to get around the rules.
