Bruno Robles-Rendón is a first generation Mexican-American composer. He graduated from the Preparatory of the Mannes School of Music in 2022 as an honors program composition student during which he studied composition under Mary Kouyoumdjian and Steven Sacco. Bruno is now continuing as a 1st year undergraduate student at the Mannes School of Music studying composition under Christopher Cerrone after briefly studying with David T. Little.
Bruno Robles-Rendón's music has written music for various ensembles including Mantra Percussion, the Bergamot String Quartet, and the JACK quartet. He owe's much of his inspiration to his favorite composers which include Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Arvo Pärt, Caroline Shaw, Meredith Monk, Bryce Dessner, Michael Gordon, David Lang, Julia Wolfe, Nico Muhly, Timo Andres, Christopher Cerrone, Judd Greenstein, Joe Hisaishi, Luke Howard, Federico Albanese, Nils Frahm, Hania Rani, and Max Richter.
