References of Synthesis EP is an exploration of the deep interconnectivity between nature, human consciousness, and the underlying structures of existence. Each track weaves together seemingly disparate elements—plants, geometry, sentience, and transformation—into a cohesive narrative that reflects the complexity and beauty of life’s hidden patterns. It speaks to the idea that all these elements reference each other, creating a harmonious blend of nature, life, and consciousness.
Zingiber Mioga is a progressive, drippy track inspired by the grooves and textures of hypnotic techno and dubstep. Rooted in nature, this track takes inspiration from the Japanese ginger plant, symbolizing the regenerative life force found in even the simplest forms of organic existence.
Patterns Beneath the Eyelids is an ambient piece that invites listeners into a meditative space, where subconscious visions and internal rhythms, shapes, patterns, and ideas seem to form in the darkness behind closed eyes. Acts as an interlude and also an intro - transition into the next track.
Sentium represents the essence of human consciousness, this track focuses on ASMR textures and original sound design. The theme explores the core of sentience, connecting the human experience to the intricate, underlying patterns of nature and life which is represented through the patterns and grains of the sounds.
Catenoid is an upbeat and glitchy dubstep track. Catenoid is a geometric form found in nature,and symbolizes the elegant precision and complexity of life’s design, mirroring the interconnectedness of the physical and spiritual realms - the track implements glitches and complex sounds but on top a simple and orthodox drum pattern and minimal bassline.
Offkilterado is a drastic shift from the rest of the EP. This track embodies the unpredictability and imbalance that exist within both nature and human experience, capturing the essence of how asymmetry plays a role in the flow of life. The track is oddly off balance and does not follow a 4x4 groove or familiar patterns. It is a triplet hi hat, half time beat. We wanted to give a curve ball as a bit of a switch up.
Exuvia represents metamorphosis, evoking the natural process of shedding old skin, much like an insect or snake leaving behind its exoskeleton. Exuvia embodies the beauty of transformation and growth, shedding the past to evolve. It reflects the EP’s core message—how we evolve through the synthesis of our experiences and the connections we draw from nature, life, and the unknown.
