The crew connected for episode 9 to discuss our highlights of the the recent US presidential debate between President Biden and former President Donald Trump in the first presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle. The 90-minute affair that was defined by rambling answers by the current president, and lies and misstatements by his predecessor.

The candidates fielded questions about the economy, abortion, the Middle East, the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, Trump's recent criminal conviction and more.

It was painful to watch president Biden stumbled through many of his answers early on in the debate and sounded like he was losing his voice. He often lost his train of thought and struggled to communicate his positions on a variety of issues.

Trump on the other hand, sounded energetic in comparison, even as he mischaracterized his record and many of the president's positions throughout the night. He lied repeatedly about a variety of topics, including abortion, his recent criminal conviction.

We also discuss the New album by Afrobeats artist, Rema titled 'HEIS'. The Album reflects Rema's desire to return Afrobeats to its purest form. It emphasizes that music's true purpose is to make people dance, free from excessive frills, marketing, and fuss.
