Over a year since his last official release, BraedenV is back with his most electric record yet; a genre-blending showcase of his signature singing and rapping over electronic dance beats, boombap, triphop, and cinematic, reverby soundscapes.
On title track 'Neon Nights' (Intro), BraedenV announces his return as better than ever, confidently rapping over a self-produced wobbly synth line.
He doubles down on the rapping and wordplay over the spacey keys of 'No Pressure', with his longest and most complex rap verse to date.
On the chilled, dark boom-bap beat of, 'Fade Out', BraedenV brings back a fan favorite feature, melodic rapper Spivey, as they tear into critics and opposition with incendiary verses.
In 'Keep it 100', BraedenV jabs at his peers, teasing rappers for their fake materialistic lyricism and cliched wordplay. He builds into a crescendo about keeping the circle small over a self-produced bassy beat.
In 'Real Ones', BraedenV shifts gears to a reflective, introspective angle, with lyrical themes touching on relationships, worldly issues, and the complexities of life.
With 'I'm Not There', BraedenV opens up about feelings of abandonment, isolation and self-sabotage, over a ornate string instrumental and swelling basslines.
Neon Nights is slated for a waterfall release. Fade Out released September 27th, 2024.
Second single, 'Real Ones' dropped November 1, 2024. Third single drops March 1st 2025.
