Silver Springs - Fleetwood Mac (Roxanne Roll Rework for Fleetmac Wood)

The only thing wrong with the original release of Rumours was that there wasn't enough space to fit Silver Springs on it. Relegated to the B side of Go Your Own Way, this beautiful song didn't quite get its moment in the sun, which caused some friction within the band (like they needed more).

This edit was created to celebrate the 40th birthday of Rumours and to bring a track that means so much to fans and myself - to the dance floor. The original can't be bettered, but I enjoyed adding some cosmic disco elements and extensions. I played it for the first time at Public Works San Francisco at our Fleetmac Wood Rumours Rave (on the official anniversary date of the album's release). The response was great from the crowd, which meant a lot as its a daunting task to edit a track you love so much.

The recent Rumours Deluxe re-release now includes Silver Springs. So all is right in the world and as it should be.
