Emerging from Australia's alternative music scene, Lupes found early inspiration in the raw energy of acid, the drive of techno/tekno, and the atmospheric layers of trance. Music quickly became a powerful tool for personal expression and a way to evoke emotion. Now based in Brussels, this sound has further evolved, absorbing the vibrant influences of the European electronic landscape while embracing a core organic grooves that can also venture into industrial textures when the vibe is right. Influences from rock, punk, and grunge also subtly weave into this sonic tapestry. Sets are built on a continuous, hypnotic rhythm, aiming to create an immersive trance-like experience rooted in mental soundscapes. The focus remains on the fundamental power of electronic music to connect and release.
