Fernando Sor Opus 60 Ex. 16 by Giuseppeleiden published on 2025-01-04T03:44:58Z Number 16 of Opus 60 Ramirez 1a Trad. Zoom IQ7 mic into iPhone 1 edit. Reverb added in Logic (ChromaVerb Piano Chamber) I like this etude very much but it comes with its challenges. Firstly, I found it slightly difficult to phrase due to its very regular rhythmic quality, then of course it's got those fast slurred parts which I expect trip up quite a few people. Few other tricky fingerings and some similar but different variants on the descending turnaround need attention paid to. This was the first of the Opus 60 numbers that I decided I was going to edit. I was stressing myself out too much trying to get a perfect take and after reading about how famous musicians used lots of editing in the studio (e.g. Glenn Gould, Julian Bream) I decided not to torture myself over a tiny slip up and it was OK to use the technology of the day in order to correct some of those. Thus, there is a single edit near the end which I doubt anyone could hear. Genre Classical
