Follow The Wolfe Sisters and others on SoundCloud.
This one is for all the pioneers who have written in to complain that the recent batch of songs haven't been addressing their concerns, and how insulting it is that the Wolfe Sisters seem to be forever singing about love and loss, when in reality they should be suffering from dehydration and eating nothing but lizards and tumbleweeds, and either singing songs about that or expiring.

Lyrics:
And at the end we reckoned up
How little or how much each one of us had lost
And Emily would choose the winner of this game
And lead them outside of the circle while we stared into the flame
We played with half a deck of cards
And some men cursed the stars for leading us astray
Whilst others claimed that they contained the world entire
And all our outcomes had been pre-ordained and all of them were fire
And we’d sing - Darlin Emily, rest your head upon me
I can’t ride no more, I forget just what we’re searching for
And by the day we’d saddle up
And if we yearned to stop not one of us could say
And Emily would claim that each would have their turn
And as the sun beat down upon us it was clear to her that everything would burn
And we’d sing - Darlin Emily, rest your head upon me
I can’t ride no more, I forget just what we’re searching for
When you’re doubled up and paper thin
We’ll be howling at the moon again
