Isabel Ruano

Isabel Ruano is a Guatemalan-American singer, songwriter, and activist. Her first band, Disidentes, was included in the Festival Libertad de Expresión Ya! recording in 1994. Her first EP, La Danza de Shiva, was released in 2001 and classified as ambient-electronic. With a more acoustic sound, Isabel completed the self-published album Sin título (Naufragio) in 2018. Her influences draw from Early Music to post-punk and dream pop.
