Yes, it's 'busy'.. ~ challenging perhaps.. this is intentional ~ I like to see how far I can take weaving melodies, riffs; counterpoint.. (perhaps my next recording might be less frenetic?)

I've used 'Castles' as a vehicle to return to music.. and in re-recording and rewriting this song I've undergone a huge learning curve.. re-Learning how to sing.. how to play.. how to record.. Ableton, Cubase.. feck..
Strangely I haven't had to 're-learn' composition, ~ as I've stated elsewhere, I don't write the songs, ~ they write me, or rather, they write themselves..

Every day, every night I've been trying with all my might, I've been cyberactivatin' and trying to shed some light on all the problems man, that I can see.. Now I realise it's got to start with me. I could rant, I could rave, 'til I hit my grave, about star bangled spanners and corporate slaves consumer units, man.. But at least while I'm free.. I've got to be the change that I want to see.. And I know. Yes, I know. it's my problem too.. I cannot shirk responsibility.. I've got to be the change that I want to see..

I forgot to mention: Time. This recording has taken a long time because I've had to relearn everything. So this process began, again in June 2023 when I decided to 'Do it all over again.. One more time..'
The learning curve has also included learning to sing and play guitar again (!), and learning how to record.. So, yeah, time.. and love..
