When caught in an argument, you may find yourself in a delicate balance between ego preservation and taking the high road. “The Act I Can’t Attack” highlights the dichotomy of speaking your mind and holding your tongue. An uptempo piano driven arrangement leads the march to a triumphant chorus of voices and instrumentation. Catchy melodies and nostalgic vibe bear resemblance to artists like Japanese Breakfast, A Fine Frenzy, and Paramore. Briar Circle is Boston-based and self produced. Singer-songwriter Lauren Ginsburg teamed up with childhood friends (Kevin Garvin and Sean LaForce - from the metal/hardcore band "On Broken Wings"). Together they’ve created a Retro/Rock late 2000’s sound, occasionally blending with the Indie Folk and Pop genres.
