Intermezzo, 1 for stringquartet by Peter Heeren published on 2023-10-27T03:06:14Z This composition is the result of an assignment given by my composition teacher, Friedhelm Döhl, to his composition class. All students were tasked with creating a composition based on Brahms' famous Intermezzo Op. 119, 1. The only guideline provided was to freely interpret the piece. This work is my product of that assignment. The composition was first performed at the Brahms Festival in Lübeck in 1992, as part of a presentation by Professor Dr. Friedhelm Döhl's class. Performers: Charlotte Balle, Violin Almut Schliker, Viola and 2 other performers I cannot remember. Genre Classical
