Background: Growing up in 80s Glasgow, Thomas was immersed in a phenomenal music scene. Listening to bands like the Blue Nile, Orange Juice, and Aztec Camera fueled his creativity.
Early Days: Thomas started like most folk, playing in a covers band and performing in grassroots venues like The Cathouse, Fury Murry’s, and The Target Bar.
Songwriting Journey: Realizing that singing covers wasn’t enough, Thomas embarked on a mission to learn how to write his own music. Drawing inspiration from various genres, he began transferring his feelings and thoughts into words and melodies.
Stage Triumphs: Thomas has graced some of Glasgow’s top stages, from the Kings Theatre to The Glasgow Hydro. Notably, he became the first male soloist to perform on the Hydro stage.
Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games: One of his proudest achievements was performing in the “People Make Glasgow” video and live performance at the opening ceremony of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. With an estimated worldwide TV audience of 1.5 billion, he shared the stage with Amy MacDonald and Rod Stewart.
