AŬSKULTI - VIVO by TUTMONDA published on 2025-01-07T11:05:52Z Johano Nādabindu (aka João Svayam) - bamboo flute, djembe, udu, context, and direction | @joaomsousa Jörg S - flute | @joerxworx Francisco Morato - electric bass | https://franciscomorato.bandcamp.com/ VIDEO at : https://youtu.be/HA32dcEeJ8Y AŬSKULTI is a collaborative project curated by Johano Nadabindu from the TUTMONDA sound label. Its main focus is to unite musicians from all over, showcasing their talent, language, and creativity on tracks that are primarily improvised. VIVO is the first collaborative track that combines recordings made in person and at a distance. Process: Johano recorded an improvised piece with a transverse bamboo flute and then added a djembe groove and an udu experiment. He sends the master file to Jörg, who records his own flute in dialogue with Johano's flute. After some editing, Johano invites Francisco Morato to record electric bass on the track. Johano ended up editing the track until it reached its final form. VIVO means ALIVE, and it is a celebration of life after a close encounter with the possibility of death.
