100% IRISH HARD GROOVE MIX by DECADANCE

150bpm Hard Groove mix consisting of Irish produced tracks only.

Since moving to Amsterdam over a year ago, I’ve become heavily influenced by the Old School / Hard Groove sound that characterises the city’s after-hours sound. I’ve always woven in that vibe with my hard techno mixes but I wanted to create a mix that fully celebrated the atmosphere that I’ve experienced at parties such as @vault-sessions-collective ‘s infamous weekenders in Bret & Radion.

Beyond this, I wanted to also highlight the many Irish producers who have been pushing a similar groove focused sound. The result is a pure juxtaposition which represents the two locations which underpin my techno fascination.

The mix originally premiered on the Estonian National Radio station Raadio 2 for Merimell’s “Machine Nation” show.
