Raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico; Tanicha Lopez is sure to leave you breathless with her performance. Considered one of the best jazz vocalist in PR, she is enticing, transparent, honest with her sound and flexible in any genre; known to improvise jazz, bolero, hip-hop, R&B, Gospel and Neo-Soul, Salsa, Reggae, Latin, Folk; you name it! She is ready to deliver good stuff.
Winner of scholarships from Berklee College of Music she has performed in the Heineken Jazz Festival hailed in Puerto Rico alongside well known jazz artists, and has worked with local and international musicians and producers alike: Trombonist and composer William Cepeda, flutist Kalani Trinidad, rappers, Tiago Sta. Cruz, PJ Sin Suela, Residente and Hip-Hop collective Raiza Tronco Yramas, Grammy Award Winner saxophonist Edgar Abraham and Jonathan Suazo. Composer William Russell, Brandon Cores,Zacchae’us Paul and 'Ted Talk' speaker Beatbox artist Black Rhythm.
Currently a member of the band "Misa E' Gallo" & "Cultura Profetica", airing musical and promotion tours on different countries around the world
